1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PeloParent (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of PeloParent constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

PeloParent is a baby and child care tracking platform that provides sleep logging, feeding tracking, diaper monitoring, activity tracking, pumping session management, growth charting, milestone tracking, and algorithmic predictions including sleep window forecasts and diaper inventory forecasts. The Service is designed for use by parents and authorized caregivers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a parent or legal guardian to create a PeloParent account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

5. AI-Powered Features

PeloParent includes optional AI-powered features, such as voice commands and report insights, that are processed by third-party AI services (Anthropic). These features are opt-in and require your explicit consent before activation. AI-generated outputs are provided as-is with no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or reliability. You should always verify AI-generated information before acting on it.

6. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information
• Not sharing your login credentials with others

Notify us immediately at admin@peloparent.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

7. Family Sharing

PeloParent allows you to invite family members and caregivers to view or edit your children's data. When you invite someone, you control their permission level (view-only or editor) on a per-child basis. You are responsible for ensuring that anyone you invite is authorized to access your child's information. You may revoke access at any time through the Family settings.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Use the Service to collect information about other users without their consent
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission

9. Data Accuracy

PeloParent provides sleep predictions, growth percentiles, diaper inventory forecasts, and other algorithmic outputs as estimates based on statistical models and the data you provide. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of these outputs. Predictions are influenced by the quality and quantity of data entered and should be used as informational guides, not as definitive recommendations.

10. Intellectual Property

The PeloParent application, including its algorithms, prediction engines, analytics systems, user interface, design, and content, are the intellectual property of PeloParent. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.

11. Beta Program

PeloParent is currently provided as a beta service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. During the beta period, features may be added, modified, or removed without prior notice. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data persistence, or feature availability during the beta phase. Active beta users may be eligible for future pricing benefits as described at the time of registration.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PeloParent and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to PeloParent in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at admin@peloparent.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the application or via email. Your continued use of PeloParent after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PeloParent operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
